Community Collaborative Project
Living Our Languages community project—led by Dr. Joshua Schwab-Cartas, funded by SSHRC—focuses on Indigenous language reclamation through community celebration and education. Through three workshops hosted at the Treaty Space Gallery and Centre for inter-Media Arts and Decolonial Expression (CIMADE), Indigenous participants painted on rawhide hand drums with designs highlighting themes of language revitalization.
