Let’s Plant & Grow Together

The Food Sovereignty Garden is a collaborative NSCAD University project that unties the Treaty Space Gallery, Land Connects Us with faculty lead Joshua Schwab-Cartas and the Office of Student Experience in community building and education.

The garden project encourages people to get outdoors and take ownership over their food. By participating in the project students, staff and members of the public will learn new skills like building, planting, preservation, seed saving, printmaking, documentation, harvesting and cooking. This project will also make the Granville Mall lusher and more welcoming space for everyone.
