Treaty Space

Book Launch and Authors' Circle

Tuesday, Sep 16 202511am - 12:30pm

Treaty Space Gallery, 1887 Granville St

Join us for a powerful gathering with the Mi’kmaq authors of Sacred Paths: Healing Through the Seven Sacred Teachings, a book of affirmations born from deep cultural knowledge, lived experience, and collective commitment to justice.

The book was created by members of Break the Silence, Be the Change: a youth-led research and arts collective confronting colonial and gender-based violence through art, story, and ceremony. Featuring Edmund Morris, Jaylyn Morris, and Alyssia Christmas alongside Eskasoni-based poets Hannah Battiste and Angelo Bernard, this Book Launch and Authors’ Circle invites reflection, dialogue and transformative futures. A light brunch will be served.
