UPCOMING POP-UP MARKETS

Etlitoq: Indigenous Artists' Pop-Up Market and NSCAD Spring Makers' Market

Meet the Makers of Etlitoq

Accessibility Details

Join us for upcoming pop-up markets Etlitoq: Indigenous Artists’ Pop-Up Market and NSCAD Spring Makers’ Market hosted in partnership with the NSCAD Treaty Space Gallery, Anna Leonowens Gallery, CIMADE Lab, CEL, and SUNSCAD. Find us on the first and second floors of the NSCAD Port Campus 1107 Marginal Rd.

Etlitoq (1st floor) features Indigenous vendors from across Mi’kma’ki and beyond. Each of these talented vendors create unique, handcrafted pieces through contemporary and traditional practices such as basketry, beadwork, quillwork, wood burning, pottery, and more. The NSCAD Spring Makers’ Market (second floor) features work by current NSCAD students practicing their craft in a variety of disciplines such as printmaking, painting, textiles, ceramics, and illustration.

Did you know? Etlitoq (e·dê·li·dohk) is a Mi’kmaw word meaning “she/he/they makes it”.
