NEW Treaty Space Gallery

NEW Treaty Space Gallery location!

We are excited to announce the relocation of NSCAD’s Treaty Space Gallery to 1887 Granville St, next door to Anna Leonowens Gallery! We will continue celebrating the diversity of Indigenous experiences and artistic practices while providing learning opportunities for the NSCAD and Halifax communities. This space will highlight artwork that responds to the UN’s declaration of the Decade of Indigenous Languages, themes of cultural revitalization, and notions of treaty; while also providing a gathering space for Indigenous students and all treaty people to come together in community. Visit us at our new location beginning September 16, 2024.

NSCAD University sits on Mi’kma’ki, the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq. We are all Treaty People.
