Anna Leonowens Gallery seeks a Saturday Student Assistant!

Student must be enrolled in Fall '24 and Winter '25 classes. Exceptional organizational skills are necessary. Gallery installation experience considered a asset. 
 
The Saturday Gallery Assistant monitors the gallery on Saturdays from 12noon – 430pm, prepares for weekend installation and dismantle, assists visiting artists with installing/dismantling exhibitions, is responsible for tool and equipment inventory, monitors social media and works with the public. 4.5hrs/ week, some extra hours as required.

NSCAD Student Employment Policy stipulates rates of pay according to number of academic credit hours completed. See chat below. Students who are hired in a position that is not part of a research or project grant shall be paid in accordance with the below wage scale plus 4% vacation pay.

≤ 30 credits hours completed (1st year*): Min Wage
≤ 60 credits hours completed (2nd year*): Min Wage + $ 0.30 /hr
≤ 90 credits hours completed (3rd year*): Min Wage + $ 0.60 /hr
≤ 120 credits hours completed (4th year*): Min Wage + $ 0.90 /hr
Graduate Student: Min Wage + $ 2.50 /hr
