Award Exhibition

NSCAD University is proud to host the NSCAD Student Art Award Gala where every year 10 remarkable student finalists are selected, each representing a different visual art discipline. The winner, selected by an external jury, is announced at the Gala and receives the Grand Prize of $5,000.

This year’s Student Art Award Gala will be held on May 6, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Port Campus (1107 Marginal Rd, Halifax, NS). Join us for an evening of celebration to showcase NSCAD’s exceptional students with an exhibition and reception that includes live music, a walking jewellery show and art sale, food, and cash bar.

Please note: Student Admission ticket holders will be required to show NSCAD ID at the door.
