Phasephoria
Sunny Babcock

Feb 27 - Mar 2, 2024

Gallery 3

undergraduate exhibitor

Combining sound, electronics, and hot-pink fluffy materials, Phasephoria takes the visitor on a sensory journey through a series of interactive installations. Handmade circuits and virtual and tactile instruments compose layered metaphors for queer, transgender embodiment. Throughout the space, the artist inserts their voice to weave conversations between digital and physical bodies. By subverting gender codes and binary logic, Phasephoria proposes a deepened experience of the world through the practice, contemplation, and acceptance of change.
