Group exhibition
Solar Power calls on members of the NSCAD Photography Collective to interpret the title as they wish, celebrating the sun with an emphasis on processes that often rely on specifically solar qualities: UV light (cyanotype), mapping the trajectory of the sun (solargraphs), and the sun’s ability to bleach natural pigments (anthotypes). The show will feature a collection of large and small prints along the walls with a few soft sculptures in the centre of the room.
