Treaty Space

Time Will Remember Us
Nour El Sabeh

Nov 3, 2025 | 5:30pm - Nov 29, 2025 | 4pm

Treaty Space Gallery, 1887 Granville St

Through the lens of three Lebanese women filmmakers, this exhibition revisits the intertwined histories of Lebanon and Palestine sharing stories of resistance and exile. Over decades of war and living under harsh conditions, Heiny Srour, Randa Chahal, and Mai Masri have persisted in documenting memory to reveal the revolutionary role of women. Each film reclaims history from patriarchal and colonial narratives through a Third World cinema perspective, illuminating the intimate and political spaces that women inhabit in times of upheaval.

Supported by Lebanese Diasporic Atlantic, Curating Change, and SSHRC
