About her exhibition, Zamir offers, "This exhibition presents a selection of work created during my time at NSCAD, exploring shape, form, and the possibilities of metal. I am particularly interested in creating highly elaborate pierced surfaces and manipulating them to transform flat metal into dimensional forms.
My work is inspired by my family history and Jewish traditions, which inform its themes and visual language.
My graduation thesis focused on creating wearable jewelry pieces inspired by traditional Jewish papercutting, reimagining these intricate patterns and techniques through metal."
