the tip of the tounge, the teeth, the lips
Melanie Evelyn and Kenna Robinson

Jul 7 - 11, 2026

Gallery 3

Graduate exhibitor

the tip of the tongue, the teeth, the lips brings together the performance works of artists and MFA candidates Melanie Evelyn (Saturn Return) and Kenna Robinson. Combining the aesthetics of the theatre and the photographic studio, the gallery is transformed into a collaborative space for embodied looking, recursive rehearsal, and poiesis. Looking to queer phenomenologies, the rhythmic language of drag and burlesque, and material temporality as theoretical grounding, Evelyn and Robinson interrogate and expand traditional roles of performer and audience, operator and sitter.
