Following a forgotten catastrophe, a group of "humans" roam migratory pathways for generations, avoiding cyclical environmental hazards. To survive their toxic surroundings, these people, the Wearers, have developed intricate symbioses with a selection of fungi, moss, algae, and lichen. They crafted the BioSuits: living protective gear made from fungal mycelium.
"it looked like your BioSuit" is an exhibition of ceramic sculptural objects made to immerse the viewer in this worldbuilding experience. Influenced by current topics in agriculture, mycology, and ecology, these objects communicate a possible solution to climate change and survival amid disaster.
