About his exhibition, the artist offers: "Friendly Nightmares and Scary Dreams" is an multi-media installation centering around trauma and childhood anxiety and depression, using my vivid dreams as a place to hide and nightmares that were trying to process my anxieties. The installation is a combination of surreal paintings from my dreams and nightmares, mixed media sculptures alluding to evil creeping in, and an installation of a play fort as the safe hidey-hole in the middle of the dark room.
