Li offers, "My work explores animals as they appear in dreams—embodiments of instinct, transformation, and blurred boundaries between human and non-human life. Using traditional holloware techniques, I form metal shapes and layer them with enamel painting, gemstones, clay, and felt to create vibrant, textured surfaces. These pieces invite viewers into a liminal space where the familiar meets the strange, evoking both freedom and fluid identity."
RECEPTION: Jessica Li; Emily Buckland; Tovah Williams; Baily Smith and Hana Nozomi
