In the exhibition don’t forget about me, Serutoke uses medical imaging technologies such as MRI scans and X-rays. Through large-scale printed matter Serutoke explores their relationship with their body beyond its superficial surface. By contrasting external imagery with internal words, the work shows the potential symbiotic relationship between art and science and a deeper understanding of what it means to have a body.
