The artist offers, "Confronting isolation and desperation has served thematically as a through-line within my recent studio practice. In doing so, I’ve located relationships between visual and written languages. The intent now with this current work, informs the possibility to further investigate poetics, which are made manifest when choice components are placed in dialogue. I've discovered that this contextual aspect of my studio practice ultimately becomes the sole informer of the work I make."
