Halinaty offers: "Printmaking is not only an exploration of physical media and visual output but a discussion between an artist's mind and the world that surrounds them. Grace Halinaty strives to embody a practice revolving around the curiosities of the natural world and the impact they’ve had on their life. They expand on the interaction between the natural and urban settings, encompassing various themes of what it means to interact with outdoor spaces as a human being, both in harmful and beneficial contexts. Nature is beautiful because it exists outside of a constructed setting, it thrives on the laws of evolution and natural process - on change and preconceived chaos. Within these moments it defies any logical configuration the human mind could conceive independently. It is the original designer. Nature forms the patterns that inspire Grace’s work and the work of every human-made thing to exist before it."
