"Pieces of Home" is a graduate exhibition exploring the resilience of heritage amidst global displacement. Reclaiming the matrilineal legacy of crochet and lacework, I translate ephemeral threads into permanent silver through piercing to document a legacy of defiance. My collection, Home in Transit, serves as a living archive, using refined Persian and Indian geometries to honour architecture now lost to violence. By elevating jewellery, historically a woman’s primary form of financial autonomy into a medium of resistance, this work creates a sanctuary for memory. It is a defiant celebration of cultural survival and the unbreakable threads of our shared history.
