"Gathered Silhouettes" is a collection of works that explore volume, pattern, and material within fashion and textiles. Each look complements the other, gathered in community, while coexisting as stand-out pieces through whimsical silhouette.
Finding balance in experimenting with slow, sustainable fashion, these works incorporate deadstock fabrics and conscious design. Revealed in mutton-sleeved blouses, A-line skirts, and ruffled gowns. Inspirations for this collection originate in Victorian and Medieval-era garments, Gothic Cathedral architecture, and mystical interpretations of vampirism and religion within pop culture. "Gathered Silhouettes" invites the viewer to reimagine contemporary dress, in proportions, colour, and naturalistic inspiration.
