Love Lived Lost

Gallery 3
group exhibition
Of all our human emotions, grief is one of the most individual, personal, and isolating ones.
This exhibition offers an intimate look at the complexity of grief. It presents a (self)portrait of grief and what is left when the seed of love grows into the flower of grief.
It offers a window into a deeply personal experience which can be as hard to bear as witness, because it is a response to the way we love. What we make of and with our grief reveals much about whom or what we loved and lost as it does about how we experience it.
Through mixed media, this exhibition explores the deeply personal nature of grief, and asks, after loss, what do we hold on to so deeply when who or what we loved is gone?
