"Warping Worlds" is a duo painting exhibition exploring the creation of imagined spaces in response to feeling. With a focus on surrealism and abstraction, the artists distort pictorial space to create liveliness and emotion, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the paintings. Often what someone sees and what they experience differ, and these works visualize this using familiar scenes and subjects, warped to reflect the personal feelings and experiences of the artist. Viewers are invited to hop between these worlds, connecting with their own experiences and finding something extra in the ordinary.
