Join us on January 25th (UPDATED DATE) for part one of the outdoor, winter seed-sowing workshop. Participants will use a winter seed-starting technique utilizing recycled materials to construct mini greenhouses. We will plant various flower and herb seeds sourced both from October’s Seed Harvesting and Difficult Histories walk and Cultural Seeds.
The workshop will take place at the Peace and Friendship Park (1170 Hollis St.) and can be reached by bus routes 7A/B or 29. If you have any accessibility needs we can accommodate, please let us know in the sign-up link below. Dress for the weather, gloves are recommended.
All materials will be provided, and all are welcome! If you participated in the Seed Harvesting Walk, please bring your medicine bags and seeds harvested from the Dalhousie Pollinator Garden. If you were unable to attend, you are still welcome to join. Please sign-up here!
