Wednesday, Oct 25 20231 - 4pm

CiMADE Lab: Room 007 NSCAD Academy Campus, 1649 Brunswick St

Porcupine Quill Workshop: Session 2 Quill Dyeing

Join us for the second of three porcupine quill workshop sessions. This part will be focused on the quill dyeing process. If you were unable to attend the first session, you are still welcome to come and participate!

Meet us at 1PM in the NSCAD CIMADE Lab, Room 007 in the basement of Academy Campus, 1649 Brunswick St. The space can be entered through the front door on Brunswick st (via access card) and down the stairs to the right, or knock loudly on the back door by the parking lot. Contact avaclarke@nscad.ca with accessibility/accommodation requests, and any questions you may have.

The quills dyed in this session will be used to create quillwork art in the 3rd and final session.

We look forward to seeing you there!

This project is part of Seeding and Beading, a Treaty Space Gallery and NSCAD Art Education thesis initiative funded by Indigenous Youth Roots.
