WORKSHOP: Session 1 – Porcupine Quill Cleaning & Sorting

Come join us at the Treaty Space Gallery on October 4th, 2023, for the first session of our three-part porcupine quill workshop: Cleaning & Sorting! The first workshop will be from 1-4pm at the TSG (1107 Marginal Rd, Port Campus). The workshop will be run by Treaty Space Gallery Exhibitions Coordinator Natalie Laurin (Georgian Bay Métis, she/her).

During the workshop series, you will learn how to clean and sort porcupine quills, dye them, and then get the chance to create a quillwork art piece of your own. All NSCAD students, faculty, and alumni are welcome, no matter your skill level or experience!  

Materials will be provided, but are limited, so sign up to claim your spot. We look forward to seeing you!
