The Blooming Mural Project involves collaborative collage and drawing in relation and responsibility to this land: Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma'ki—the land of the L’nuk. Plants, flowers, trees, and grasses all emerge from a seed, becoming and blooming into themselves through many interactions and relationships. We invite you to become a co-creator by contributing to this collaborative collage of Indigenous plants and flowers.
In time, the mural will morph into an interconnected, ever-growing rhizome. This activity is an act of sowing seeds of learning, creating, and sharing. We value all who contribute and hope that by participating, you have the opportunity to pause and reflect on your relationships to plants as well as consider the role of making and learning together towards decolonial change.
