Feb 1st, 12-2pm
CiMADE Lab: Room 007 at the NSCAD Academy Building 1649 Brunswick St
All Black, Indigenous, People of Colour identified Students and Faculty, and Staff
are welcome
What is a get-together?
- A casual space to workshop ideas and continue current projects
- A space to gather and collectively determine what our future get-togethers can look like
- A space to share and connect with others within the arts and BIPOC community
The Centre for inter-Media Arts and Decolonial Expression (CiMADE) is an inter-institutional arts-based entity that aims to create opportunities for furthering decolonial practices of learning and activation through community building among students, artists, scholars and activists.
CiMADE’s Lab works in relation with the NSCAD Treaty Space Gallery to provide space for community access to contemporary arts-related programming.
CiMADE welcomes you to our lab space and is excited to facilitate future BIPOC community events including crits led by local and visiting professional artists. We hope to see you Feb 1st at this initial get-together – snacks and beverages will be served!
The main entrance is located at 1649 Brunswick St. The CiMADE Lab can be accessed at ground level at the back of the Academy Building. To learn more about accessing the building, please email us at cimade@nscad.ca
