Composition/Decomposition
Zephyr

@zephyr_vulgaris www.zephyrvulgaris.com

Oct 3 - 7, 2023

Gallery 3

Undergraduate exhibitor

In Composition/Decomposition Zephyr sculpts a human head in stages, beginning with bone and layering on soft tissue until it becomes a fully fleshed entity. Each phase is documented through casts and upon achieving full composition, Zephyr uses an experimental casting technique resulting in a dozen distinct and distorted heads, all stemming from the same source. This series is an evolution in Zephyr's ongoing exploration of distorting and reshaping the human experience.
