Sugar Crash is an accumulation of jewellery and holloware that was made by Shum during her time at NSCAD. Made with a combination of metal, resin, ceramic and found items, the artist creates a visual explosion of colour. It is inspired by the vibrant colours of toys and candy and the sweet joy they bring.
