Sustain-abilities: Craft at the Edge of the Earth is a showcase of the past three years of the Sow to Sew Project. Part display, part map, part workshop, this exhibition views the project's many parts as a larger archive. Through Sow to Sew, NSCAD students and faculty approached the creation, research and technologies of craft from outside their dominant centres of production, showing that sustainability is as much about skill sharing as it is about resource sharing. This exhibition underscores that, though the project is now in the past, the work can be used and reused in NSCAD’s future.
