MFA thesis exhibition
homescape is a collection of objects, furniture and sculpture that reimagines our landscape in Mi’kma’ki with a hopeful gaze towards the future. Crafted from mussel shells and discarded marine debris in combination with traditional metalsmithing techniques, each piece embodies the essence of the Kjipuktuk (Halifax) harbour. homescape invites viewers to reconsider the beauty and resilience found within overlooked materials, sparking conversations about sustainability and our connection to the environment.
