This exhibition explores artistic and alternative explorations of Garfield as a multigenerational icon adopted by the queer, neurodivergent, and alternative communities. We are a group of artists that are also Garfield fans with a vision of the character that transcends Jim Davis’ vision. The Anna will become an orange-haven, a safe space to share and interact with Garfield-themed art that suits a variety of stories and interests, as well as the nostalgia that the current and previous generations have for the character.
