In Spring 2024, Team Possibles partnered with NSCAD's Art Factory to produce collaborative mixed-media drawings. These pieces drew inspiration from the everyday life and reflections found in nature.
Team Possibles Art Collective began in 2006/2007 by Artist and Educator Renée Forrestall. The program focuses on celebrating the Down syndrome community and culture. Team Possibles artists are active community members, entrepreneurs, leaders and professionals, redefining boundaries and making a positive impact. Team Possibles is a program of HNSDSS and HRM Recreation.
NSCAD Art Factory works with community partner organizations and NSCAD students to co-create specialized arts-based programming for community members. The Art Factory program aims to enhance art education opportunities for community members while providing valuable cultural sector employment opportunities and facilitation training for NSCAD students.
