Pairing imagery of mundane nature with a process that the artist endearingly refers to as “garbage printing,” Not to be Wasted allows the viewer to examine the discarding of daily awe, as well as the experience one might have with nature: there are ways to guide aspects of nature to accommodate our desires for it but ultimately the innate qualities take their own control of what the result of that encounter will be.
