In Forgetting Familiar Faces / Exploring Hidden Spaces, Pelavas tells a story of self-acceptance and internal discovery through oil paintings. She departs from traditional oil painting practices by incorporating found materials, texture and mixed media elements. The work embodies a narrative of catharsis, creation and personal familiarity.
