PAPER CRAWLS is a collection of prints and video created by stacking sheets of newsprint paper and selectively applying various pigments and dyes to allow them to bleed through the many layers of paper, effectively 'animating' this process by having it captured sequentially. These prints, as well as various other materials, have been scanned and assembled into a short animated film scored by Oliver Lamantia, a frequent collaborator and longtime friend.
