Makenna Bugaliski’s exhibition “Woolgathering” invites you to consider the whimsical forests, sweet adventures, and mischievous otherworldly creatures that can exist in the unknown. “Woolgathering” is the act of experiencing your daydreams with absent-minded intent. This exhibition aims to take the viewer to a multi-layer window into the ideas of imagined spaces, characters, and nature by illustrating a colourful and lively wilderness through a series of assembled paintings and soft sculptures. Makenna hopes to introduce you to characters and their own folklore, by interpreting these fleeting moments of “Woolgathering”.
