"Slaying the Irving Dragon" is a photographic exhibition centred around the effect that the Irving Group of Companies (IGC) has had on New Brunswick through their extractive processes. Logan Hatt grew up in the small town of St George, and witnessed firsthand the stranglehold the corporation has over his community, and how much harm they can cause, as well as the dissonance between how they say they treat the land vs how its actually treated. To represent this Logan is using alternative image making methods; working with the land itself, forcing people to see the harm that has been hidden from them.
