Scary Yarn

Feb 25 - Mar 8, 2025

Gallery 1

MFA thesis exhibition

This exhibition is based on themes found in horror films, and compares them with themes present in knitting and craft. Connecting the two worlds to create new conversations on mental health and styles of coping. A series of hand-dyed, woolen knittings will be displayed in the gallery, each of which will be 'steeked' (cutting through columns of knit stitches). Each work will be finished during the opening reception, steeking live before the audience, and mounted to the wall as they are completed.
