Climb, Axe, Forest
Lands and Parks Based Practices

Gallery 3
group exhibition
Provoked by the marking, preserving, ordering of that which is changing, decomposing, stolen; Climb, Axe, Forest is a multidisciplinary group exhibition born from the tension of finding comfort, community, and a sense of home as uninvited visitors on unceded land. This exhibition plays on ideas of climax and control, ecological and personal. These works were developed in partnership with Parks Canada, by a group of artists engaging in multiple land-based residencies and visits within Mi’kma’ki.
