MFA Thesis exhibition
Sheldrick uses industrial materials like steel and concrete to create sculptures that explore the built environment and its relationship to both people and the planet. By using forms that evoke both the industrial and the geological, the work presents fragments of an industrial past, embedded in the landscape. The work asks questions about the sustainability and vulnerability of the modern world and explores one possible future for our planet.
