palimpsēstos is a collection of work made in response to a July 2023 trip to Greece, in which four undergraduate students – Erin Fleming, Kate Solar, Neive Dwyer, and Nic Groeneveld – participated in a workshop at Hydrama Theatre. Created between the Aegean island of Hydra and the port city of Halifax, these artworks inhabit the margin between place and passage. Through a variety of disciplines—jewelry, object design, painting, and film—the exhibitors traverse landscapes simultaneously ancient and ever-changing.
