The artist offers: “Have you ever experienced brokenness? Some of this brokenness comes from what you see, hear, and feel in your heart. The real world is filled with varying degrees of brokenness and chaos.”

Kate spent ten months sculpting the world of flowers in clay. She invites the viewer to walk through it and to “think positively about how to live in the face of this broken world, whether to be affected by the brokenness or to resonate with it, and how to maintain the purity of the soul and continue to grow.”
