STRANGE BODIES, FAMILIAR HOMES

About her exhibition, Clapperton states,
“It is the land that returns me to the things I must remember and must face. Grief lives in everything we could never become, and the love lost to everything left unsaid. We all have or will experience some interaction with grief. It is connection, disruption, and it is grounding. I am the most present to all that becomes of me when I am outside.
This exhibition features a collection of prints and drawings chronicling the physicality of memories through the lens of a naturalist.”
