Teaming up with local community organization Every One Every Day Halifax, the Seedbarrow is a mobile, interactive education workspace that invites the community to gather together to create seed balls that they can disperse throughout the city, greenifying and introducing beneficial fauna, botanicals and food into our local spaces.
In addition to the activity of creating and distributing seed balls, the project also aims to act as a platform for folks to discuss and learn about important issues such as the loss of biodiversity, local ecology, and reconciliation here in Mi'kma'ki. It’s designed to go anywhere, set up easily, and be used by everyone.
