By using various media and different techniques including dress making, embroidery, screen-printing, oil painting and others, this exhibition will highlight how Chinese history, especially fashion history, has developed from Tang dynasty (618-907) to contemporary times. It focuses on four sets of garments designed and made based on the fashion style from three ancient Chinese dynasties. Also included are other artworks to provide the viewers more context about Chinese culture, philosophy, and history.
