MFA thesis exhibition
Based on personal experience, Ginger Yu Yu constructs memories through blurred images, driven by curiosity. Using citizen visual journalism and newspaper archives, this exhibition explores the relationship between time, memory, and the censorship of individuals. The blurriness of the images signifies the challenge of understanding their content while symbolizing the freedom to imagine beyond established social standards.
