Roloff Beny Scholarship Recipient
Gavin Caissie's first solo exhibition tests the boundaries of photography through unconventional image-capturing and printing methods. His use of found objects, installation, and stop-motion films, define image-making as limitless and forever expanding. Influenced by his upbringing, retro experimental filmmaking, religious iconography, and curiosity for innovation, his work combines gritty visuals with unique materials and processes. The versatility of pieces in this exhibition offers visitors a unique viewing experience alongside hands-on, interactive elements.
