curated by Gabby Watkins

Apr 1 - 4, 2025

Treaty Space Gallery, 1887 Granville St

Group exhibition

To Be Loved Is To Be Mended is a group exhibition that celebrates the process of repairing textile items and garments. It showcases a variety of mending techniques–such as darning, embroidery, Sashiko, and appliqué—produced by local artists. Mending is an act of sustainability and love, and demonstrates how textiles can be a major player in changing how we act to save our planet.
