Undergraduate exhibitor
Lacey explores the colours of Nova Scotia’s landscapes through her natural dye practice. From forests, to dye pots, this body of work examines and reevaluates what home means to her. This exhibition includes a large naturally dyed and hand printed quilt as well as other textiles including garments and wearable pieces, showcasing her foraging journey. Using second hand fibres and fabrics to preserve her memories of home, and the generational knowledge she has received from elder relatives.
